About DAA
Cancer Prevention & Early Detection in Cameroon
Who We Are
The Denis Asuagbor Association (DAA) is a Cameroon-based nonprofit organization committed to improving cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection across communities.
We believe that informed communities save lives.
Tribute & Values
Although the Association carries the name of the late Denis Asuagbor — remembered for integrity, discipline, and service — his passing was not cancer-related. The work we do reflects the values he lived by: standing with people during difficult moments and strengthening community care.
Our Mission
To reduce preventable cancer deaths in Cameroon through community education, early detection awareness, and partnerships that strengthen access to prevention and screening.
Our Vision
A Cameroon where cancer is detected early, stigma is reduced, and communities have the knowledge needed to protect their health.
